Renaissance Fun at the Four Winds Ren-dependence Festival &

    Joust Tournament!

Tyler, TX (May, 2007) - The Old World combines with the New World, Renaissance-style, to create a new Texas Tradition and an All-American Celebration! In celebration of Independence Day, join the fun at the REN-DEPENDENCE FESTIVAL & JOUST TOURNAMENT, Saturday and Sunday, June 30 & July 1 at the Four Winds Faire site, located just 11 miles south of Tyler, Texas.

This special event includes admission to the exciting full-contact Joust Tournament with armored knights on horseback, musical entertainment, beautiful belly dancers, a variety of artists and vendors, and a fireworks display. The Joust Tournament is open to experienced Knights from all over the country, who will compete in games of skill and in a full-contact joust for awards and prizes. The beautiful belly dancers from Tyler's own "Dream Harem" will be there to delight and entertain as well. Food concessions are available with turkey legs, steak-on-a-stake, and other delicious Renaissance treats.

"Four Winds events offer a unique opportunity for families to have an educational and fun experience and step back in time for a day. We have recaptured the essence of entertainment in the Renaissance era that will spark imaginations of the young and not-so-young alike," says Dustin Stephens, Owner of Four Winds Faire.

This is one weekend experience you and your family won't want to miss! This unique event is a great value at only $10.00 per adult and $5.00 for children age 5 to 12; children 4 and under are free. Gates open at 4:00 pm and close at 10:00 pm following the fireworks display. Tickets may be purchased in advance until June 25 by ordering online at fourwindsfaire1@yahoo.com, or at the ticket booth the day of the event. FREE PARKING is available. For more information about the Ren-dependence Festival & Joust Tournament, log on to www.fourwindsfaire.com or call (903) 839-5271.

    Saluti,

If I may, from where doth thy persona dwell? Doth thy hail from Italia. I am seeking further Signore e Signora to join thy Faire Italians group. Grazie.
